Asset Management

The Asset Management business unit develops, controls, and administers real estate assets of institutional investors, publically owned companies, and demanding private investors currently valued at around 3.8 billion euro. The goal is sustainable earnings optimisation of the respective real estate portfolios. Through qualified and individual administration, Asset Management serves the diverse financial interests of our customers and renters.

We have approx. 200 highly qualified employees consisting of business economists, lawyers, tax experts, as well as architects, engineers, technicians and business specialists to handle this complex task. Moreover, with our subsidiaries in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt and Munich, HIH is represented at the most important German financial locations.

The services that arise over the course of the complete lifecycle of real estate can be completely covered by HIH and its subsidiaries. Besides the accompaniment of buying and selling individual properties or alternatively portfolios, our experience and our range of services cover all of asset management, mainly in the strategic direction and development of real estate assets, property management, and last but not least, project development, which also includes extensive modernisation measures. With our own renting department as well as employees at the most important German real estate locations, HIH coordinates optimum marketing of unoccupied space.

Furthermore, HIH has many years of experience as an operating sub-advisor for institutional real estate special assets. Besides Warburg Henderson KAG, these customers also include international investors such as Apollo Management International LLP, Natixis Capital Partners and Rockpoint, for example.
